Overview of Yaskawa's Benefits

Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Two medical plans and a dental plan are available to all full-time, regular associates the first of the month following the hire date. Cost to associate varies with type of medical plan and coverage (Single, Single + one, Family). An Opt Out allowance is offered to associates who have other insurance. Prescription drugs are included in the medical plan. Vision care is provided at minimum cost to associates.

Life Insurance and AD&D is available to eligible associates at no cost. We also provide supplemental life insurance and supplemental AD&D to associates and dependents at a minimal cost.

Short and Long-term Disability Insurance is paid by Yaskawa for full-time, regular associates (after applicable waiting periods).

401(k) Plan
Yaskawa matches associate contributions dollar for each dollar deferred up to 6%; total deferral up to 80% of base salary or the IRS Maximum 401(k) Deferral limit, which ever is less. Eligibility begins first of month coinciding with or following the hire date. A variety of fund options are available.

Legal Services Plan
Associates may purchase the Group Legal Plan, which covers a wide range of legal services.

Flexible Benefits Account allows eligible associates to use pre-tax salary dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses and/or dependent care expenses up to $5,000 per year for each plan.

Educational Assistance Program for pre-approved course work, in accordance with Company policy, for tuition and books.

Seminar reimbursement and in-house training program for approved programs.

Vacation
The first year of employment associates accrue up to a maximum of five days. Beginning the next calendar year, and the following year, full-time, regular associates accrue a maximum of 10 vacation days per year. Associates will accrue 15 vacation days beginning employment year 3. Additional incremental days will be given following additional years of employment.

Sick/Personal Days
Full-time, regular associates earn five days per year. There is a 45-day waiting period for new associates and then the number of days is prorated, based on hire date, during first year.

We have 11 paid holidays.
