Overview of Yaskawa's Benefits

Medical and Dental Insurance
Four medical and three dental plans are available to all full-time, regular associates effective on their on hire date. Cost to associate varies with type of medical plan and coverage (Employee, Employee+ Spouse, Employee + Child(ren), Employee + Family). An Opt-Out allowance is offered to associates who have other insurance. An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all associates that participate in YEA’s Medical plan, as well as their family members who live with them. A prescription drug discount program is also included in the medical plan.

Vision Insurance
Vision care is provided by EyeMed.

Life Insurance and AD&D
Two times salary (minimum $50,000) in Group Term Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment is available at no cost to eligible associates. Supplemental life insurance and supplemental AD&D is offered to associates (and dependents) at a minimal cost.

Short and Long-term Disability Insurance
Company paid for full-time, regular associates (after applicable waiting periods).

401(k) Plan
Company match of dollar for each dollar deferred up to 6%; total deferral up to 80% of base salary or $16,500, which ever is less. Eligibility begins first of month coinciding with or following hire date.

Legal Services Plan
Associates may purchase the Hyatt Premier Group Legal Plan, which covers a wide range of legal services at a cost of $18.00 per month.

Flexible Benefits Account
Allows eligible associates to use pre-tax salary dollars to pay for eligible health care expenses up to $3500 per year and/or child and dependent care expenses up to $5,000 per year.

Educational Assistance Program
Provided for preapproved course work, in accordance with Company policy, for tuition and books. Up to $5,250/year for undergraduate-level courses and up to $10,000 per year for graduate courses.

Seminar reimbursement and in-house training program for approved programs.

Vacation
The first year of employment associates accrue up to a maximum of five days. Beginning the next calendar year, and the following year, full-time, regular associates accrue a maximum of 10 vacation days per year. Associates will accrue 15 vacation days beginning employment year 3. Additional incremental days will be given following additional years of employment.

Personal Days
Full-time, regular associates earn five days per year. There is a 45-day waiting period for new associates and then the number of days is prorated, based on hire date, during first year.
