Waukegan, Ill. (August 9, 2010) Yaskawa America, Inc. is pleased to announce that Ms. Cory McHugh has joined the Drives & Motion Division as the Director of Human Resources. McHugh last served as Director of Human Resources for Qualex, a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak. Qualex was an industry leader in providing photographic services through click and capture photography at attractions and seasonal venues, wholesale photofinishing services through a network of manufacturing facilities, and photographic supplies through a nationwide distribution network.
Prior to working at Qualex, McHugh was Director of Human Resources at Frisby P.M.C., a manufacturer of precision machined components located in Elk Grove Village, Ill. McHugh also served as an HR Generalist with Omron Manufacturing of America in
St. Charles, Ill.
McHugh has extensive knowledge and experience in building HR teams that establish and provide competitive benefits to the workforce. Her experience also encompasses HR information systems, associate engagement initiatives, and recruiting and on-boarding systems. McHugh is highly focused on providing value to an enterprise’s business needs through a team oriented, quality focused and results oriented management style.
