Waukegan, Ill. (August 25, 2009) Yaskawa Electric America, Inc. is celebrating its 16th year as a Partner Member of the Control System Integrators Association (CSIA).
CSIA (www.controlsys.org) headquartered in Madison, Wis., was established in 1994. CSIA offers two types of membership; Members (integrators) and Partner Members (vendors). CSIA provides its Members with the means to improve their business and executive management skills in support of the belief that being a good system integrator goes hand-in-hand with operating a good business. CSIAs trademark Certified Member program provides an industry-specific means for end-users to identify areas of importance and minimize the uncertainties in selecting a system integrator, while also offering a framework for integrators to evaluate and improve their own businesses. There are currently about 300 Members and 50 Partner Members.
Some of the top reasons that Yaskawa is a CSIA Partner Member include:
- Aligning our business with top control system integrators, which we call Solution & Service Providers (SSP), with Discrete and Process control expertise within vertical markets or geographic regions
- Promoting our products and services
- Networking with leading control system integrators
- Participating in peer groups or committees to advance the industry
- Eliminating the need to develop control system integrator evaluation criteria to ensure necessary business practices and processes are in place

Working with CSIA Members qualifies the technical and project execution capabilities to ensure they are representing Yaskawa from a total quality perspective. Our department works with control system integrators by transferring our factory level best practice knowledge providing pre-canned solutions that increase CSIA Member margins.”
