The E7 Harmonic Estimating Tool (E7/HET) can be used to estimate and calculate the voltage and current harmonic distortion produced by the Yaskawa E7 Drives on almost any electrical system, at the Point of Common Coupling and/or at the drive input terminals. Just enter the source transformer data, the linear load and the drive information for a quick and easy look at the electrical system. If harmonic mitigating is required, the solutions can be evaluated using this tool. Compare 6 pulse drives with 3 and 5% input impedance (Bus Chokes or AC Line Reactors), 12 pulse front ends, and even an 18 pulse drive.

The Energy Savings Predictor (E7-ESP) Software enables users to forecast the energy efficiency and savings potential for HVAC systems, as well as other fan, pump and cooling tower applications, equipped with E7 VFDs. The software can be used to assess the magnitude of potential energy savings for all common flow control methods, whether for a single application, or to plan upgrades across an entire facility.
