The NS300 is a configurable indexer that attaches to the side of any Sigma II amplifier from 30 watts to 55 kW and accepts DeviceNet commands from DeviceNet masters. The NS300 can store up to 50 positions, perform multi-speed position moves, and position relative to a registration input. In addition, the NS300 has a station mode well-suited for dial tables and works seamlessly with absolute encoders. Target Position or any of the configurable parameters in the NS300 or the Sigma II can be sent in one 8 byte DeviceNet message. The open architecture and modular hardware provide the most flexible solution for indexing applications.
