The NS600 is a configurable indexer that attaches to the side of any Sigma II amplifier from 30 watts to 55 kW and accepts ASCII serial commands over RS232/422/485. The NS600 can store up to 128 positions and position relative to a registration input. The stored positions can be initiated by digital inputs and the NS600 can add time delays, drive digital outputs, and repeat or link moves. In addition, the NS600 has a rotary mode well-suited for dial tables and works seamlessly with absolute encoders. Target position or any of the configurable parameters in the NS600 or the Sigma II can be sent by serial commands. The open architecture and modular hardware provide the most flexible solution for indexing applications.
