Multi-Axis Motion Controllers

Yaskawa's multi-axis motion controllers provide a system solution for applications including point-to-point motion control, multi-axis interpolation (contouring), and electronic gearing and camming with tight integration of machine I/O and network communication.
MP2300Siec
The MP2300Siec is a multi-axis machine controller available in 4, 8, and 16 axis, controlled via MECHATROLINK-II digital network. This product combines standardized programming tools defined by IEC61131-3 and PLCopen with the high performance of Yaskawa’s Sigma servos, and standard Ethernet protocols. Programming tools support homing, indexing, gearing, and registration. Controllers can communicate over Ethernet to facilitate a distributed control system.

MP2000 Series (MP2300 - MP2200)
Machine Controller for Packaging Machine Systems

Yaskawa offers its most powerful machine controller in the MP2000 series. MP2000 products synchronize sequence control and motion control in one tightly integrated platform. Position, speed, torque, and phase control such as electronic gearing and electronic cam profiles are available for complex motion in case-packing, form-fill-seal, labeling, and flow-wrapping machinery. The MP2300 can control up to 48 axes. The MP2200 expands control up to 256 axes.

SMC-4000
The SMC-4000 is a multi-axis Ethernet motion controller designed for use with Yaskawa’s Sigma II series and LEGEND Digital Torque Amplifiers. Available in 2 or 4 axis models, the SMC-4000 combines a large array of features with easy setup and reliability into a compact, stand-alone package. The SMC-4000 is a third generation motion controller in the SMC product line.

The SMC-2000 is the original SMC controller available in 2, 4 or 8 axis models.
