Class Topics:
The Drives Road Show Training class is designed to give technicians and engineers a basic foundation of drive knowledge as well as answers to specific issues that come up with their drive applications. Part 1 of the Road Show training class provides the student a basic foundation of drives knowledge. Class topics include but are not limited to:
- Theory of Operation
- Drive versus an across the line motor starter
- Basic Drive Configuration
- V/Hz discussion
- PWM
- Carrier Frequency
- Reactors
- Motor Consideration
- Energy Savings
Part 2 of the Road Show training class deals with the specific issues of the customer students. Each is asked about their drive experience, the drive applications found in their plant, and what they want to learn about drives. Once the student's training needs are determined, a course outline for Part 2 is created. A combination of lecture and hands-on demonstrations allow students to become a comfortable with the products.

Class Format:
Class times for a Drives Road Show Training class will vary with the customer. Class length is eight hours with a one-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The class consists of approximately 70% lecture and 30% hands-on exercises.
Class Cost:
$2000 per day with a maximum of 18 students for "In-Season" classes, contact Yaskawa Technical Training Services at 847-887-7228 for more details.
Class Materials:
Students will receive a copy of the Road Show training manual as well as selected product user and instruction manuals in paper and/or electronic format.

To enroll in any class, call Technical Training Services at 847-887-7228. Dates are limited, so call early. P.O. must be net 30 days.
Cancellation Policy:
If cancelling within 3 weeks of the Road Show scheduled date, 100% of the total.
