Yaskawa Electric America has expanded its full range of professional training programs into a new Virtual Training Room, providing live online training from the company’s own web site. Yaskawa’s Virtual Training Room is a web-based program that allows product users, distributors and integrators, new college graduates and other industry professionals to attend class anywhere they can connect to the Internet and a telephone. Classes are also available on an on-demand basis, matched to the time and content preferences of the customer. 

Developed by Yaskawa engineers, these online classes provide training on Yaskawa drives and software packages carried out live via Internet connection while the telephone line carries the audio.

The interactive Virtual Training Room design gives students the ability to communicate directly with the instructor and other students by teleconference or through Yaskawa’s instant messaging system.

For the classes held in the Virtual Training Room, Web is displayed as the location.
