| Answer: | Many HMI manufacturers support ‘multiple driver’ or ‘dual driver’ capabilities, allowing more than one controller driver to be installed on the same HMI unit. Using this method, different controller drivers can be assigned to different ports on the HMI. Each separate PLC is then wired to a separate port. Please contact the HMI manufacturer directly to inquire about this feature. |
