Question:Is there a detailed procedure on how to read/write parameters from/to fieldbus NS-300/500 modules?
Answer:Yes, attached are flowcharts of the parameter read/write sequence and ladder logic code for both operations.

The basic read operation sequence is as follows:
1. Set Mode bit to 1
2. Verify mode selection
3. Set parameter number
4. Set read command code [08h] and command start bit
5. Verify response commands and parameter number
6. Read response data
7. Set Mode bit to 0

The basic write operation sequence is as follows:
1. Set Mode bit to 1
2. Verify mode selection
3. Set parameter number & value
4. Set read command code [09h] and command start bit
5. Verify response commands, parameter number and value
6. Set Mode bit to 0

The ladder logic code provided is for an MP-XXXX controller with DeviceNet, acting as Master. The following register allocation was used:
IB00000: Executes the parameter read operation
IB00001: Executes the parameter write operation
IW0110-IW0113: allocated for NS-300/500 module input bytes
OW0100-OW0103: allocated for NS-300/500 module output bytes
MW05000: to set the parameter number
ML05002: parameter read data
ML05004: parameter write data
