Question:How is the memory stored in an MP-2000 series controller?
Answer:The MP-2000 controllers have two basic memory storage areas. They are SRAM (battery-backed) and FLASH. The details of both types of memory are described in the chart below:

Notes:

* Turning on the INIT switch of the CPU and applying power will clear the SRAM.
** D Registers are normally stored in FLASH. In the System Configuration definition they can be globally configured to be cleared on power-up .
*** This includes SVB Setup Parameter tab (OW8000-OWFFFF registers) values are stored in flash. All of the other I and O register values are not stored.
**** Table Data is normally stored in FLASH, but can individually be configured to battery backed during creation of table when using MP-2200 CPU-02 module only.

A general note regarding the MP2200 CPU-02, the project can be stored/loaded to/from compact flash memory.
