| Question: | Is it possible to resolve the "Controller Firmware Library does not match Project Library" error? |
| Answer: | This message indicates that the PLCopenPlus firmware library in the project is not compatible with the firmware version in the target MP2****iec controller. The firmware library in the project and/or the firmware on the controller may require an update. The latest firmware libraries, along with release notes, can be found on the MP2****iec Firmware History page.
If there have been revisions to any of the function block input/output interfaces, those function blocks already used in the application code must be deleted from the project and re-inserted from the new library. In MotionWorks IEC v2, right-clicking on a function block will display a menu with a feature for updating all FB instances automatically. |
