FAQ# MTN-8LHPZB Published: 09/21/2011

Question:How is it possible to delete CSV or other user data files from an MP2000iec controller?
Answer:While there is no web server utility to delete individual files from the controller, the following methods will work.

Method#1:
1) From the controllers web server, log in, go to the Project Archive page and make an archive.zip
2) Save it to your computer.
3) Using WinZip, delete the CSV you no longer want on the controller.
4) Send the Archive.zip back to the controller.

Method #2
If you are managing the file names in such as way that you can tell the IEC application the directory and filename of the file to delete, use the FILE_REMOVE function block from the ProConOS firmware library.
