The key to this application was to reduce cycle time of the part by increasing positioning performance and reducing settling time. The Sigma-5 made this possible even with changing loads from 2:1 to 18:1 load to motor inertia ratio!! Setup time for tuning to achieve this performance was only 30 minutes from out-of-box.
