Firmware for MPiec Controller Series

The current release of MPiec Series firmware is revision v2.4.0.

Before You Upgrade Firmware...

1. Upgrading controller firmware will often provide additional functionality or performance. However, if the controller is in an existing installation, we recommend you call us at 1-800-YASKAWA (927-5292) to review the application with a Yaskawa Application Engineer prior to upgrade.
2. Please read these upgrade instructions for MPiec Series controller firmware and/or firmware libraries.

• Firmware - refers to the operational code that resides on the physical hardware.
• Firmware Library - refers to the function block interface, or FWL file, that contains the PLCopen and Yaskawa function blocks used in a MotionWorks IEC application program. The firmware libraries should not be confused with a PLCopen Toolbox, which is an application level set of programming tools also available.
