Since introducing SF6 gas rotary-arc technology in 1964, Yaskawa has produced over 120,000 medium-voltage SF6 switches, circuit breakers, and contactors. Yaskawa introduced the world's first medium voltage circuit breaker with SF6 gas rotary-arc technology to the market in 1970, and has led the technological development for this class of switch worldwide.
