New Berlin, WI – The Energy Savings Calculator (ESC) software is available at no cost to enable users to accurately forecast the energy savings using VFDs for pump applications.

Given basic information about the application, the ESC software will help to select the appropriate drive, estimate the investment and potential savings, and predict the payback. The software can be used to assess the magnitude of potential energy savings for all common flow control methods, whether for a single application, or to plan upgrades across an entire facility.

The ESC software works with any Microsoft® Windows®-based PC. Results displayed include before/after energy usage, project costs and rebates, operational information, predicted yearly energy savings, and multi-year payback analysis. In addition, charts are provided for duty cycle, payback, power required, annual energy usage, and annual savings.
