MPiec Series
MPiec controllers feature Yaskawa’s motion engine integrated within the IEC61131-3 and PLCopen programming standards. The MotionWorks IEC software, which uses these standards, helps reduce machine development time by allowing code to be easily encapsulated and reused. Programmers can choose from a variety of languages including function block diagrams, ladder, structured text, sequential function charts, and instruction lists.

The MPiec series includes single and multi-axis packages capable of controlling up to 62 servo axes. The single axis controllers are integrated with the Sigma-5 amplifiers and have built-in analog I/O, digital I/O along with two Ethernet ports for upstream connectivity. The multi-axis controllers are modular stand alone units with Ethernet and MECHATROLINK network connectivity.
All MPiec controllers have a built in web server which greatly reduces field maintenance time and allows users to load new programs and update controller firmware. In addition, all MPiec controllers support the Ethernet/IP and Modbus/TCP (master and slave) protocols, which connect to most PLCs and expanded I/O. Machine designers can optimize their control architecture with the scalability and modularity of the MPiec controllers and MotionWorks IEC development software.
MP2000 (MP2300-MP2200) Series
 The MP2300 and MP2200 models are part of Yaskawa’s initial offering in the MP2000 series machine control platform and are programmed with MotionWorks MPE770 software. Programming is primarily ladder diagram for sequence and motion. The MP2300 is a compact controller, offering three open slots to allow expansion of I/O and connectivity with Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Profibus network options. The MP2200 expands on the capabilities of the MP2300 by providing a larger, more configurable rack system with 9 slots.
