Question:

Does Yaskawa offer software for sizing rotary servomotors?

Answer:

Yaskawa provides a software package called SigmaSize for sizing rotary servomotors. SigmaSize is very flexible and allows a wide variety of applications to be sized. It is available at no cost. Download the software from the link below or order the Servo System Design Tools and Aids CD-ROM (document # YEA-CD-S800-32.3), available by calling (800) YASKAWA or by e-mailing to literature@yaskawa.com.

Yaskawa also offers classroom training for the use of this software.

Before getting started, it may be helpful to first gather information about the specific application using the application sheet guides. Click here to access more information on Application Sheets.

Once the application infomation is gathered the servo can be sized one axis at a time.
