Question:What is the meaning of CAL or CALL on the keypad display?.
Answer:Upon drive power up when the drives Run Command or the frequency reference are to be given from PLC thru serial communication
  • "CALL" will flash on the display for the VS F7/G7
  • "CAL" will flash on the display for the VS mini V7/J7
This indicates the unit is awaiting the appropriate communications data. Once a node receives acceptable data from PLC, CALL or CAL will stop flashing. the drive is then ready to run.
