FAQ# DRV-5NULD2 Published: 07/13/2004

Question:Can the inverter still be used if the input voltage exceeds the permissible voltage fluctuation range (-15% to +10%)?
Answer:No it can not. When the voltage limit is exceeded the drive will fault and display one of two error messages. Undervolt or Overvolt. If the input voltage exceeds 10% of what the drive is rated at OV - DC Bus Overvolt error message will appear on the screen and the drive with fault . If the input voltage drops below 15% of the rated input voltage a UV1 DC Bus Undervolt error will appear on the screen. In both of these occurrences the drive will shut down.
