| Question: | The E7 drive inside the bypass enclosure unit doesn’t have the Hand, Off or Auto buttons that are shown in the E7 manual. How can the drive be run locally? |
| Answer: | To limit confusion, the Hand, Auto and Off buttons on the keypad were disabled and a membrane/sticker was placed over the buttons on the face of the keypad. This is done only on units that have a seperate H-O-A switch on the door of the enclosure.These functions can only be accessed manually, by adjusting the Hand/Off/Auto switch located on the front panel of the bypass unit. They are peripheral methods for changing operation methods. The purpose for this is to limit confusion by having only one Hand/Off/Auto control. |
