| Question: | After installation of DriveWizard Plus on a Dell PC, the following Windows error is displayed when attempting to launch the application: "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application" |
| Answer: | This problem is caused by older versions of the "Wave System's Embassy Security Suite", which is OEM software on a number of different Dell machines. Older versions of this software can corrupt some of the DLL files required by DriveWizard Plus.
The problem can be corrected by downloading the latest Embassy Trust Suite from the Dell website. This can be found in the support section of the website, under Drivers & Downloads. This update is under the Security category. |
