Yes. The attached document is a step by step procedure to guide proper Sigma Trac Linear Motor selection. The motor selection is based upon travel length and coil size.
SigmaTrack selection step outine:
First gather all application information on an Application Sheet (For more information on Application Sheets see FAQ # MNEN-5CJMJU)
1A: Select coil size from performance charts (positioning time vs Index distance)
Coil Sizes: STF20-090, STF20-120, STF50-200, STF50-380
1B: Select coil size from desired peak and continuous force
1C: Evaluate bearing life factors
2: Select stroke length
Stroke Lengths: 110mm to 2110mm (4.3" to 83")
3: Select Amplifier option (SGDH or SGDG)
4: Select Slide options (home sensor, cable management, encoder spec)
