Gearing Up For Private Label

Private label is a market segment producing enormous growth in recent years. Sales of private label food and beverage products in the U.S. topped $98 billion in 2011, according to a new report from market research firm Packaged Facts. Products in this category accounted for 17.6 percent of total retail food and beverage sales, the report said, and posted a six percent year-over-year sales growth.

To meet this growth, labeling machines for bottled water must be able to produce a variety of products on the same machine.
