Working Safely Around Solar Inverters, Ways to protect you by minimizing risk – Recognizing the importance of safety working around solar inverters AND not taking anything for granted is critical to protecting your greatest assets – you and your workforce. This webinar will discuss topics that focus on working on inverters in an unsafe environment. This webinar will not certify you in arch flash training. You still need to take the NFPA70e training for that. It will also answer some specific questions you need to consider before servicing, including:

• Frequently reported XGI inverter faults
• Are the conditions safe to work in?
• Read the posted signs to make sure you are prepared before servicing?
• Do you have the proper PPE?
• Make sure you are using lock out tag out.
• Have you read the manual?
• Do you know your main contacts for the site to call upon?
• How to test for voltage – and verify its absence?
