The web processing is performed on a steel web that is to be used in solar panel production, and is unwound/wound and inspected by the system presented here. A Galil motion controller controls all three axes in step/direction mode which puts the Sigma-5 in position mode taking advantage of the adaptive tuning, quick setup, and stellar performance, thus beating out the competition.
