The attached app note describes how to configure the Device Object Instance Identifier. This feature was recently added to the CM049 option. The way in which it is set is rather non-standard. Normally, one would enter the value into the product (ie, via the digital operator), but with the E7 BACnet option this is not possible. Therefore, this app note was created to show how to write the value over the BACnet network using a commonly available tool.
