The Z1000 variable speed drive is designed for building automation applications such as fans, pumps, and cooling towers through 500HP. The Z1000 features an easy-to-read LCD keypad that provides Hand-Off-Auto interface and a real time clock. These features make the Z1000 perfect for many building automation applications that require reliable motor control.

	Other than OLV/PM parameters, is there other causes of OPE08? Posted Date: 11/27/2012 Answer: Although oPE08 is described as 'A function has been set that cannot be used in the motor control method selected', there is a specific parameter that, on the surface, has very little to do with the motor control method. This parameter is L6-02 and L6-14, Torque Detection Level 1 and Motor Underload Protection Level at Minimum Frequency, respectively. If L6-02 < L6-14, oPE08 will be triggered. Because the L6 parameters have to do with Torque Detection, it was determined this was related to motor control method, i.e. Torque, instead of Current (see attached). 	I am writing to the speed reference register using MODBUS TCP/IP for my 1000 series drive, yet U1-01 does not read properly. I can write to other registers with no problem. 	I am using the MOP function on the 7 series drives and on my deceleration; the drive is following the speed pot instead of the deceleration time. Why is that? The analog inputs can be used and, by default are used for speed limiting. When deceleration is done to the drive, the drive will follow the speed limit. 	Can you explain the Hand/Auto Mode selection on the Z1000 series? The Auto mode digital input (H1-0X = 6D) is used to switch between an auto reference (B1-01) to the Operator (Open = Auto). Hand mode digital Input (H1-0X = 6E) is the inverse function (Open = Hand).
