Can you explain the Hand/Auto Mode selection on the Z1000 series? Posted Date: 06/21/2013 Answer: The Hand/Auto mode selection was created to switch between two frequency reference sources, Auto or local using a digital input. The Auto mode digital input (H1-0X = 6D) is used to switch between an auto reference (B1-01) to the Operator (Open = Auto). Hand mode digital Input (H1-0X = 6E) is the inverse function (Open = Hand).
