	An SMC program does not execute or abnormally terminates and there are no messages displayed on YTerm's terminal window. What can be done to troubleshoot this condition? Posted Date: 07/13/2004 Answer: First, make sure that the program was not designed to terminate after a preset number of loops. Monitoring some key system variables should help uncover the problem. For example, if the abort input goes low, the program will terminate. The abort input can be monitored by typing MG_AB in the terminal window of YTerm. A response value of "0" means that the abort input is active. Another reason that the program will terminate is if it executes an EN statement, and the stack (ZS) is zero. The application program will have no choice but to terminate in the event of a command error, and no #CMDERR special label routine exists in the program. System variables to monitor include: TC1 - Tell Error Code - This clears after each interrogation MG _XQn - The line number currently executing, where n is the thread number. MG_SCx - Stop Code, where x is the axis in question MG_TB - Tell Status Byte MG_ED - Returns the last line that had an error. If accessible, YTerm provides a screen that encompasses all of the above mentioned troubleshooting tools. From the terminal window, right click on the mouse, and select "Program Status" from the pop up menu. 	After installation of DriveWizard Plus on a Dell PC, the following Windows error is displayed when attempting to launch the application: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000007b). Click on OK to terminate the application. Older versions of this software can corrupt some of the DLL files required by DriveWizard Plus. The problem can be corrected by downloading the latest Embassy Trust Suite from the Dell website. 	A FB08 brownout fault occurs with nominal incoming voltage. What else could cause an FB08 fault? Posted Date: 10/07/2013 Answer: The UB-17 monitors the incoming voltage on the Bypass control board. If this monitor shows a lower value than the Brownout level, Z1-27, the FB08 alarm will result. 	A Bypass Cabinet trips in "FB08" only when in Bypass, not in drive mode.
