SGD7S Analog

When Pn002.2 (Absolute Encoder Usage) = 0 (Use the absolute encoder as absolute encoder) the SERVOPACK is not ready to accept the /S-ON (Servo ON) signal until the SEN (Absolute Data Request) signal is ON. The SEN signal can be masked ON by setting Pn515.0 = 7 (The signal is always active).

For Sigma-5 (SGDV) and Sigma-7 100/200V (SGD7S-***F, SGD7S-***A):

There should be nothing connected to the CN8 connection when using the Safety Option Module (SGDV-OSA01A).

If the safety function jumper is plugged into the CN8, alarms (A.E74 or A.EB3) will occur. Please remove it before commissioning the SERVOPACK.

Note: When using the Sigma-7 400V FT900 Safety Option Module (SGDV-OSA01A000FT900) the CN8 connection is active and can be used for STO. See SRV-E7PQJT

For Sigma-7 400V (SGD7*-***D):

The safety function jumper must remain in CN8 (in the case of dual-axis, in CN8A).

If the safety function jumper is removed from CN8, or if the safety jumper does not exist when the SERVOPACK is powered on, A.EB3 occurs. Please insert the safety function jumper before commissioning the SERVOPACK.

Yes. The Sigma-7 SERVOPACK has added a new setting for Pn002.2 (Absolute Encoder Usage). Pn002.2 = 2 (Uses absolute encoder as an absolute encoder for a single rotation).

Yes. The SGD7S Analog SERVOPACK has added the ability to use the /SPD-D (Motor Direction Input) Signal in speed control with an analog voltage reference.

Note: You must allocate the /SPD-D signal to use it. Use Pn50C.0 (/SPD-D Signal Allocation) to allocate the signal to a connector pin.
