Several states have been awarded ARRA funding for the implementation of State Energy Programs that help promote energy efficiency and clean energy deployment, as well as to support local economic recovery. State Energy Program (SEP) funds will be awarded in phases, with each awarded state initially receiving 40% of the total authorized funds. Some states have included funding opportunities for local industry in their State Energy Plans.
