This self-guided video training tutorial series is available at no charge (upon approval) and can be taken any time without enrollment.
To use the remote A1000 drive demo unit (explained in Chapter 4) you must request access by emailing Technical Training Services: email@example.com.
As a pre-requisite to the “Chapter 8” how-to video as well as DriveWorksEZ Pro level accreditation, you must submit and pass the certification test that is found in the application guide.
The DriveWorksEZ self-guided video training class is designed for technicians, engineers and programmers that need to know how to use DriveWorksEZ to create custom software for the A1000, V1000, and U1000 drives. Class topics include but are not limited to:

- How to get DWEZ Standard and Pro
- Remote Demo Setup
- Using the DWEZ PC Tool
- Function Block Descriptions
- Monitoring over DWEZ
- Rules of Programming
Students will follow along with the Application Guide in electronic format. See link above.
Student must be thoroughly versed in Programming of the A1000, V1000 and/or U1000 drive. Class is built upon the basic knowledge of the Drive operation. Installation and knowledge of how to operate DriveWizard Industrial is also highly encouraged. Watching the DriveWizard Industrial eLearning Modules will prove beneficial.

This class is delivered online using a combination of pre-recorded tutorial videos (80%) and application stories located in the class Application Guide (20%). This arrangement allows the student flexibility in scheduling and work pace, while eliminating travel expenses. Since the student is not away from the normal workplace, please take measures necessary to minimize interruptions.
Contining Education Units:
Continuing Education Units will be awarded to those students that attend this training class in its entirety and pass the certification test with a score of 80% or better. Yaskawa does not provide partial CEU credits for less than 100% attendance. As an IACET Accredited Provider, Yaskawa America Inc. offers CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard. Yaskawa America, Inc. is accredited by IACET to offer 0.8 CEUs for this program.
