New Sigma-X Products Released

Yaskawa announced the availability of Sigma-X 400V Motors and SERVOPACKs, Sigma-X 200V and 400V Gear Motors, ASM-X FSoE Safety Option Module, Sigma-X 200V and 400V motors with safety encoder options, and Sigma-X Mini Motors.

HMI Designer and the Web HMI App Launched
|
HMI Designer is an HMI development environment that is included with iCube Engineer at no additional cost. It is available as a stand-alone version also for use with MPiec products using the Modbus/TCP driver. iCube Engineer OPC UA tags will synchronize seamlessly with HMI Designer Projects. |

Projects can run on smartPanels, PanelPCs, and PCs, or hosted remotely on an iC9200 controller using the Web HMI App.

A robot goalie fast enough to stop Cristiano Ronaldo? Yep… and it’s powered by Yaskawa Sigma-X servos. These 7.5 kW motors were tuned for over a year to achieve nearly 19 m/s, providing this robot with the speed it needed to compete against one of the greatest soccer players in the world. It’s an incredible intersection of engineering, creativity, and world-class athletic skills.
