FAQ: What changes must be made in the program when switching from a 218IF-01 (JAPMC-CM2300-E) card to a 218IF-02 (JAPMC-CM2302-E) card on the MP2000 series controller platform?

When upgrading the Ethernet card 218IF-01 to a 218IF-02 the Device Type must be changed in the MSG-RCV or MSG-SND function block.
This is the setting for 218IF-01 (JAPMC-CM2300-E): Device Type = 6
This is the setting for 218IF-02 (JAPMC-CM2302-E): Device Type = 16
