Yaskawa's BestactTM dustproof and flood-tight limit switches offer industry compatible mounting capability with IP52-IP68 (~NEMA 2-6) enclosure ratings. These switches utilize Yaskawa's world-renowned Bestact™ inductive rated (360VA, 0.5HP) reed switches. They do not need snubber, varistor, or diode protective devices for contact protection as other electromechanical and solid state switch products require. They are ideal for corrosive, dirty, extreme temperature, and gaseous Class I, Division 2 hazardous environments where reliability and reduced maintenance costs are of the utmost importance. Multi-pole options, two-line wiring, and other features are offered.

- Types with # such as PSKU-#R25A can vary depending upon the contact arrangement 1NO [100], 1NC [010], 2NO [200], 2NC [020], 1NO1NC [110]
- Change of NO contact to NC contact connot be done at user.
- The lever movement is limited to either clockwise or counterclockwise operation. When ordering, specify the lever moving direction. For the 1-way operation of 1NO1NC, or 2NC, specify "R" at the end of the part number if CW is required or "L" for CCW.
- Where contact arrangement is 1NO and 2NO, specify the operating direction required. If it should turn on in CW operation, specify "R" at the end of the part number. Specify "L" for CCW.
- Type PSKU-#R25AO for crane drum over-winding protection will not restrict. However, after the contact has turned off, effective measures should be taken to lessen the effect of accidental turn on due to shock or vibration.
- Heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant type PSDH is available on order.
