FAQ: Does a Sigma-7Siec write a home offset to Flash even if it is configured to use an absolute encoder motor as incremental?

No. The Sigma-7Siec will not write to the Flash memory when the home offset is changed as long as the motor encoder is either an incremental type or an absolute type that is used while Pn002.2 = 1 (Use the encoder as an incremental encoder).
