Meet Dana Bendoraitis

I started my career at Yaskawa in March,1995, as an Inside Sales Representative, but now work for the Drives group as an International Sales and Marketing Specialist. My first taste of International Sales came early in my career when I had the opportunity to travel to Europe. We visited Yaskawa Europe in Germany and customers in the Czech Republic. This was an exciting experience and gave me a very real understanding of the company’s global reach. During my time here, I have also had other unique growth  opportunities  through my work in Demand Planning and Supply Chain as an Inventory Planner. Ultimately, I settled in to my role in International sales -- where I have been since 2004. 

In that role, I work closely with our associates in Canada, Brazil, and Australia, along with our exclusive customers in Latin America and Yaskawa Subsidiaries across the globe. I enjoy a wide range of opportunities interfacing with team members in Customer Satisfaction, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing Communications, and many other areas of the company. This includes helping to tackle challenges within our International group, such as forecasting, sales analysis, special projects, and pricing. I even get a little taste of entertaining when our customers from Colombia come to visit.

Yaskawa is a great company to work for. I appreciate the opportunities for growth within the company. Every day is different with new challenges and tasks. I am lucky to work with an amazing group of people, some of whom I have known since I started at Yaskawa. 

My husband of 24 years and I live in the western suburbs of Chicago. We have a daughter who is a senior at Iowa State University and a son who is a freshman at Augustana College.
