FAQ: Why does Alarm Code '3407 0204 - Unable to set configured network default gateway' appear and how can it be remedied?

Solution:
If the MPiec will not be on a network, set the Default Gateway to be the same as the controller IP Address to avoid the warning "3407 0204 - Gateway not found".
If the MPiec will be on a network, set the Default Gateway based on the router/switch settings.
Use the built-in web server of the MPiec controller to configure the IP address and Gateway.
- Navigate to the MPiec controllers IP address using Internet Explorer and click on Login...
- (If using Internet Explorer 10 or greater, see other FAQs to set the browser in Compatibility Mode.)
- Login: Admin (case-sensitive)
- Default Password differs slightly depending on product:
-- MP2300Siec --> MP2300S
-- MP2310iec --> MP2310
-- MP2600iec --> MP2600
-- MP3200iec --> MP3200
1) Navigate to Ethernet Config page from the menu tree.
2) Under Global Settings, enter the Default Gateway.
3) Click Update Global Settings
4) Reboot the controller.
