What impedance is the output reactor option? Posted Date: 05/13/2021 Answer: The output reactor option is between 3% and 5% impedance. Packages using the heavy duty rating with the output reactor option will have its reactor closer to 3% impedance. Normal duty packages using the reactor option will have its reactor closer to 5% impedance. Due to the variable three-level output technology of the matrix drive even a 3% impedance reactor is sufficient when required for long lead length applications. Recommendations for output filtering (AC reactor, dV/dt fitlers, and sine fitlers) are the same for the matrix drive as they are for any other two-level drive (A1000, P1000, V1000, etc.).
